Save Time With Laredo Trade Tag

The Trade Tag program grants access to Automated Vehicle Identification (AVI) lanes, facilitating seamless, automated passage. But, keep these key points in mind:

  • Use Dedicated AVI Lanes – Available at Bridges 1 and 2 for non-commercial traffic.
  • No Cash Handling – For faster and more efficient processing at all bridges, commercial vehicles are required to have prepaid AVI tags.
  • Avoid U-Turns & Delays – Make sure your AVI tag has enough funds. Enable auto-replenishment to prevent issues.
  • Real-Time Traffic Updates – View live cameras for northbound and southbound traffic before crossing.

Note – Register your cargo early and download the forms to expedite customs processing. Download the form here.

Make your border crossing easier by planning ahead. Follow these tips to reduce wait times, choose the right lane, and ensure a smooth journey.

  • Learn about U.S. Customs and Border Protection documentation, inspections, and duties.
  • The CBP One App simplifies border crossings with wait times, temporary I-94 applications, agricultural inspection scheduling, and bus operator traveler manifest management.
  • Cross-docking can expedite the movement of goods, leading to faster deliveries.

  • Be honest and transparent about the items you are bringing across the border.
  • By consolidating shipments, you can optimize transportation and potentially lower costs.
